A Canton, Ohio man has gone viral for a quick Tik Tok video he made that shows his new work uniform, a Walmart uniform. Sethy Gabriel left his six year teaching position last year to take a management job at Walmart. He claims to be making $20,000 more at Walmart than he did in his teaching job. He says his degree job made him less than his non-degree job.
He left his $43K a year teaching job strictly because of the pay. As a Walmart coach, he makes $65,000 to $70,000 with the potential to make $100,000 as a manager. He works 45 hours per week. As a teacher, he worked 60 plus hours per week between teaching first and second grade, coaching, Summer school, lesson plans and grading papers.
