Do you live in the Merle Hay Neighborhood? Apparently, there was a great mystery... who owns the wandering peacock? Residents in the Merle Hay neighborhood have reported seeing a brightly colored peacock wandering around near Franklin Middle School, among other places in the area. The Animal Rescue League of Iowa captured the peacock. They say that someone has come forward and copped to owning the bird. Mystery solved.
