Can you believe it? The fair is already half over! Boo! But, it's been so fun so far with more memories to come! Here are my favorite memories so far! Let's start with what I was looking forward to the most, the Nelly concert! It did not disappoint. Ginuwine opened up the show. Years ago, I had a connection to G. He was on a label based in St. Louis that my friend operated. I saw him at her studio all the time! He even shouted me out on one of his albums!!! It was so great to see him again. He sure is the "same ole G!"
Of course, coming from St. Louis, Nellyville, if you will, anytime I see Nelly it takes me back to so many memories!!!! He did not disapppint and now I need the t-shirt he wore on stage!
If I had to name my favorite thing at the fair, I will tell you the Sky Glider everytime. I took both of them!
Best food you can eat at the Iowa State Fair. Hands down. It's the Pork Chop on a stick!!!
And Alanis Morissette, even with the rain, was incredible!!! Shout out to the super Iowa Nice guy who gave Taylor J. a trash bag to put on during the rainy show!!
