Not everyone is on board with this, but Mariah Carey really wants to trademark "Queen of Christmas." To put in perspective, even Michael Jackson didn't trademark King of Pop. TMZ is reporting that Mariah wants the trademark to release products like nail polish, mugs, even lingerie, Coconut Water and Chocolate Milk! What?! Do we really need this, girl?
She is, also, looking to trademark Christmas Princess and Princess Christmas.
Darlene Love is objecting. She is the original singer behind the holiday song "It's Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" and David Letterman called her Queen of Christmas nearly 30 years ago. Interesting fact, Mariah covers that song on her epic holiday album.
