I'm just sayin... we're not giving the rest of the world a good reason to stop considering us flyover land! A Nebraska man spent his 60th birthday over the weekend sailing the Missouri River in an 800 pound pumpkin shell! Seriously. Duane Hansen wanted to do this to break a Guiness Book of World Record. Seriously, there is a record for this! Duane spent 11 hours on Saturday paddling from Bellvue, Nebraska to Nebraska City, a total of 38 miles. The previous record was 25.5 miles set in 2016 by a North Dakota man. See! Flyover country...this is what we do!
