September is Self-Care Awareness month with good reason. It's a challenge to get back to a busier schedule than we may have had over the Summer. Self-care is beyond important! And you deserve it. So, this week, and going forward, make it a priority. Here are some tips to tend to your self-care:
Schedule it! If it's on your to-do list, you should do it!
Use the time you have. Don't make it impossible and schedule a 90 minute massage if you don't have the time, use 10 minutes to meditate or 30 minutes for a bubble bath with a book.
When you are in "self-care" mode, stay in it. Don't use YOUR time to think about what's coming up next. Stay in the moment.
Give yourself grace. If your not taking care of yourself, know you aren't alone and don't beat yourself up. It's a struggle for all of us.
