It's World Mental Health Day! We should all be focused on our mental health every day! I came across an article on HelloGiggles the other day that resonated with me. It had tips to stay positive no matter what.
Here are some of the tips:
Stay social. Isolation can lead to depression.
Put healthy foods in your body. It truly does make a difference.
Maintain a neat space. Life gets chaotic, if the space around you is a mess, it will only fuel the chaos.
Spirituality. Take time everyday to be grateful, it really will help you maintain a positive outlook.
Acknowledge your emotions. Stop and take time each day to really acknowledge how you are feeling, happy or sad.
Live with purpose. Learn a new skill. Take time for personal growth.
Rest. Make sure you're getting enough sleep. It really will add hours to your day when you're rested as opposed to burning the candle at both ends.
Love hard. Love makes the world go around. It doesn't have to be romantic love, it can be complimenting someone. Go forth in a place of love.
