Woman Thought To Be Dead Discovered To Be Alive At Ankeny Funeral Home

Details are scarce, but KCCI reported last week that a woman believed to be dead was actually alive at an Ankeny Funeral Home on January 3rd. KCCI received scanner audio of the call and the woman was transported to the funeral home from a nursing home. Upon realizing she was alive, she was transported to an area hospital. The nursing home, funeral home and hospital aren't releasing details of the incident.
