Apartment living can be super cool. It's great not having to shovel snow or mow your lawn. A tiny space means less cleaning! However, a tiny space means less... space. I, for one, live a very cluttered life in my small one bedroom apartment. Yardbarker has some life hacks on making that tiny apartment seem much bigger.
For one, use hanging shelves for storage. Storage is at a premium in an apartment. Use the back of doors, use caddys. Hang plants and anything else you can. Check out Wayfair and order furniture with extra storage space. Use baskets (Kohls has some very cute inexpensive baskets). Purchase nesting tables, those are tables that nest into each other. Believe it or not, but if you pull your furniture away from the wall it gives the illusion that your space is bigger. Mirrors can make your place seem bigger and brighter. Focus on light/neutral colors. Use underbed storage. Use magnetic strips in the kitchen for knives to hang on the wall.
Do you have any hacks that work for you?
