Monday Motivation Minute: Destress with an Attitude Of Gratitude

Feeling stressed, slightly depressed. By all means, those feelings are always valid, but think about today... we lost an entire hour of sleep. I woke up late today and i'm super stressed. Experts have some great ideas on how to de-stress quickly and bump up the happy. I've long been an advocate for practicing an attitude of gratitude.

That's just it. If you're feeling stressed, go to grateful.

How?

I love this idea... start a gratitude photo album on your phone! This can be something you lean into when you're feeling stressed or depressed. The gratitude album can have pictures of things and people for whom you're grateful and even screenshots of conversations that make you happy!

Breathe. Practice taking 90 seconds out when you're super stressed to just breathe. 90 seconds.

It feels so good when you express gratitude to someone who makes you feel grateful! Feeling down, boost someone else up and watch your mood enhance, too!

End the day by focusing on three things that you were grateful for during the day. It will help you sleep better! Bonus, write three things down and place them where you can see them when you wake up tomorrow!
