Truman's KC Pizza is raising money to help Des Moines' Starts Right Here alternative high school. Starts Right Here was the scene of a tragedy earlier this year when two students were shot and killed and the school's founder, Will Keeps, was seriously injured. Starts Right Here will keep going and Truman's wants to help.
This month, if you purchase a pizza of the month, a $1 from each sale will go to Starts Right Here. The pizza of the month is the Chicken Caesar Pizza, Shrimp Scampi and the Bang Bang Shrimp (Lenten specials).
