When was the last time you reviewed your dating profile? Logan Ury of Hinge has some expert advice on doing some Spring cleaning on your dating profile.
Here is his advice:
- Hook them in. Think about your opening line IRL, make your dating profile have something that will make a potential date respond. "Hey, i'm single and live in Central Iowa" is not a good hook.
- Quirky. What is quirky about you? Are you a 26 year old quilter, do you climb mountains, do you go on Haitian Mission trips once per year? Talk about it in your profile! What makes you interesting?
- Get As Real As Possible. If you utilize an app that allows you to leave voice notes, do it! If you can upload video, do it!
- Set Your Autentic Intentions. You're going to attract a lot more interest if you honestly say you are looking for a long term reationship rather than a "i'm not looking for anything serious."
- Show The Real You. Don't talk about your obsession with friends, what is unique about YOU?
